World Autism Awareness Day

Therapy Smart, a new multidisciplinary private practice in Clinical & Counselling Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy, hosted the first Onsie Walk for Autism on Monday evening. The event was well supported by the Grahamstown community and all who attended enjoyed the 5km walk.

Throughout the route, there were various information boards dispelling myths about Autism as well as giving participants more information on the disorder.

At the end of the walk, there was a raffle draw for all those who participated in the event and a well deserved cup of Powerade and beorewors rolls.
